The Ellipsoid Boards were born from an inspiration in Barcelona - in Gaudi's Basílica de la Sagrada Família.
In Gaudi's Basílica you can see colorful ellipsoids at the top of each column.
These boards are light and feel good in your hands. They are great for an avocado toast plate, to cut up an apple, as a plate for a personal snack, or for drink garnishes. They can also serve as mini personal charcuterie boards for guests.
Every time I see this shape it takes me back to Barcelona and makes me wonder what inspired Gaudi to choose his ellipsoids.
